...but do most/many/any of the local bars/video poker lounges offer free drinks on machine play? Or is it just the big guys? I wouldn't mind grabbing a beer after work and playing some video poker, and if I can get it comped, even better. I'm not going to go to the Strip or any of the big hotel/casinos...just interested in whether "Joe Bob's Local Bar and Video Poker Lounge" will comp my beers if I'm playing. Thanks!

Keep in mind, they give you free drinks for a reason. You're usually better of buying your beer.

I dont know about that. At least so far, the PTs down the street from my house has paid me several hundred dollars to drink at least 1500ml of their fireball over the past few years as I have sat there playing VP while the little woman gets her nails done next door.

most bars are pretty lenient with their booze comps especially if they recognize you from coming in before, but food comps are more difficult on just playing a few 20s.

That may be what you've collected. How much have you put in?

Dottys. There's one on every major corner in town. Lots of smokers so don't go there if you are sensitive to smoke.

They have the place set up to be female friendly and if you are playing, your beer is free.

If you put in $20 your beer is free. 'Free'...maybe!
