I have no knowledge about casino work but I do know Target, Toys R Us and another place (slips my mind) have signs up that they are hiring. Auto Zone is hiring. Uhm... wendys, mcdonalds hiring. They are not glamour jobs but they will at least help you survive while you wait for Spring when you can start pounding the pavement for a casino job. I took a telemarketer job today, which I know is frowned upon here. But I have to make a buck while looking for a real job, so why not? Oh, and if you like driving and have a clean driving record you can drive a cab. From the number of cabs around here I am sure the competition for customers is stiff, but it is worth trying imo. I cannot do it because my night vision is horrible and it would stress me to the point of a heart attack. LOL

I have no idea. I talked to a guy who lives where we are staying. He drives a cab. He said when he first started he just followed other cabs, because he figured they already knew what they were doing LOL He claims he brings home $900 a week, but who knows if it is bs. He also says it is hard work and he is in the cab 12 hours a day but likes the money.
I hope telemarketing pays enough to live on. I don't spend much so a few hundred a week will work just fine.
