They just sound icky. Custard sounds like something that's congealed and gelato sounds like something made of jello. I'm a wierdo, I know.

Okay. But if you've had any ice cream that's thick and very smooth (as opposed to ice milk), it was likely frozen custard. Remember, we don't normally call it that.

I know. It's just a mental thing. I should probably break that down and hit Luv It while it's still around. That's the problem with being a long time local. You take stuff for granted. I never saw Siegfried and Roy because I thought they'd be there forever.

Dreyer's actually makes frozen custard that you can find at the grocery store. Stick with the basic vanilla, the other flavors look and taste artificial.

REVIEW: Edy?s (Dreyer’s) Old Fashioned Vanilla Frozen Custard | The Impulsive Buy

My favorite time of year for Luv-It is Oct-Dec. They start having pumpkin regularly a little before Halloween, and then egg nog starting a little before Christmas. You have to check their site for the flavors of the day (in addition to chocolate and vanilla, which are available every day).

I was only gone for six months. I was just being lazy with the update.

Yes. While I was there, I did as the Romans did. Literally.

This is the number one reason why we went this weekend. Wanted to go before they close just like the rest of Vegas' history.
