Default oops

When O'Sheas first opened, the hiring managers weren't quite on their toes. They hired lots of European workers, thinking they were going for a certain style and atmosphere. Problem was, they hired lots of English and Irish at the same time. This was during the height of the IRA disturbances in Europe when the English and the Irish could barely look at one another without a fight.

Okay, I finally got an answer to this.

The space that the current version of O'Shea's takes up, will get sucked into Caesars' Linq retail/entertainment project. There will eventually be a new, smaller O'Shea's as part of this.

Heh, was thinking the same thing. The price of a beer would not get me over there.

It gets even cheaper this weekend.

Among the farewell specials:

• Drink specials, including 10-ounce drafts of Miller Lite for $1 and souvenir drinks for $4 Thursday through Monday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Buy-in specials at the tables from noon Saturday to noon Monday, including free commemorative shot glasses and T-shirts.

• Free shots from the top of the hour beginning at noon on Sunday for the final 24 hours. There’s a two shot total limit per customer.

why, because you don't like the place or because you don't want to fight the weekend crowds this weekend? If we were in Vegas we would stop by and say, solong old friend.
