Years ago, you used to be able to go to websites like Apartment Blue Book's and order an actual book for any city you were interested in (they would mail it to you). They stopped doing that a few years ago. Does anyone know if there is still any sites that will send out a physical book? On my next trip I want to check out some apartments to get ideas, and I like having a book in hand. All I am finding are online guides.

If there aren't places that will mail them to me, are such books available to pick up free once I get there? (here places like Walgreens or grocery stores often have racks in the breezeway of real estate and rentals)

I can research online, too, but I am weird as I like "old" stuff like paper maps (I bought a map of Vegas on my last trip) so a book would be great.

Any ideas?

Most grocery stores here still have them. I'm going to the store in the next day or two. I could mail one to you.

If you don't mind, that would be awesome! I can buy you coffee or something when I see you to pay you back

Otherwise I can grab one when I am there. I just like to have the books to look at.

We have too many apartment guide books on every shelf in every store all over the city. Feel free to take as many as you want when you get here.

I miss the days of when they would mail them, so I can start looking at it now and make a plan BEFORE I get there. Looking online isnt the same
