And according to Dyn, once I made it through the summer, I would be provided my official Las Vegas resident kit. I hope it includes a button, a blue ribbon and maybe some party streamers? I am now officially a Las Vegas resident! WOOHOO!!!

My first one too Sarah. It was a piece of cake - I expected the worst and got the best. Sorry to see summer go, Denise

^^ Agreed with cre8lite. This was a mild but muggy one.

2005 and was a nasty one. We had what, a week or even ten days where the high was 113 or better in most parts of town?

I made some bad decisions in 2005, but I attribute it in part to my brain being fried.

Oh and Sarah & Mollie, congratulations!

None of you have made it all the way through summer yet. It ain't over til it's over. And remember, we only have two seasons ...summer and January.

For us nightshifters, out walking our pets at 2-3am, our summers are most survivable (as we sleep off the heat of the day) and our winters? 2-3am? With these merciless winds that can blow thru this valley, anytime, Fall thru Spring, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

My first one too. It wasn'ty the heat that threw me for a loop it was the rain storm that flooded all the streets. I never saw anything like it..People having to be rescued from two feet of water..
