One of the few things I have missed from my move from No. California is Evergood Garlic Sausage! I have checked out all the grocery stores in the Southeast and cannot believe nobody carries it! It was easy to find in No. CA so I can only guess that nobody eats it here :-(

If you have seen it somewhere in Vegas, please let me know where to find it

There is a local reporter that does a regular "Taste of the Town " column that helps people find foods they are looking for. You can email her from the link at the bottom of this story.

Wanted: Clams with bellies - Dining / Taste - ReviewJournal.com

You may also want to try Village Meat and Wine because they seem to have everything there.

Just out of curiosity, I went to the Evergood website, which had a "find a store" link, when I put in LV, there was a long list of stores there of all types-- I don't know if that means they all carry it, but I can't think of any reason for the list-- if you pick a store, a map and the contact info comes up. It might be worth a call or an email to the Evergood folks.

OK, it does list several Albertson's stores, but not the one in the Southeast. I will check out other stores on the list. Thanks!

Try The Butcher Block in the southwest part of town. They make their own sausage and usually have several types available. They may also create a batch of something specific on request.

Or, you could make your own sausage. It is not at all hard. And then you can chuck as much garlic into the mix as you like. My homemade sausage blows away anything I can buy locally -- because I'm sourcing the ingredients myself. The equipment is not expensive, nor are the casings. (I buy mine from 1st Quality Sausage on Nellis. Good guys, there.)

Depending on what you do, you may need to learn a little bit about nitrates and nitrites. But it's no big thing.
