I know it is probably everyone's dream, but, I was wondering if anyone knows of any LEGIT places that allow you to work from home. Either some sort of medical billing, or transcription or anything of that sort, and how one would go about getting hired in those sort of jobs!

Thanks in advance for any help!

It's certainly not my dream. Even when it was just me doing consulting or raising capital years ago I always had an office. I cant get anything done lounging around my house too many distractions.

Is there a particular reason why you only want to work from home?

What I do can certainly be classified as working from home. My advice is to do something on your own, and not look for anyone to hire you.

Maybe different for a female, but as a male, there is something about just getting up and getting out of the house to do a job. About 80% of my job I could do from home, but Id rather use someone else's air conditioning and socialize with idiots then be at home all the time.

Many types of sales positions allow telecommuting, as well as help desk jobs. My brother-in-law and his wife both work as help desk attendants from their home office with 2 little kids. One works first shift and one works second shift so they can take care of the tots. I'm moving to LV in June. I currently work in an office about 5 miles from home here in RI, but am going to be setting up a home office when we arrive in LV. A phone line and internet connection is all I really need. I sell corporate audio/visual production and it's all over the phone and online. Just a couple ideas for you.
