BREAKING NEWS: NFR to Leave Las Vegas - 8 News NOW
The casinos should get together and put up the difference.
December 2014 is gonna be brutal around these parts now.

Good going Las Vegas.

December is already a dead month for many hotels/casino, this will just be crippling.

Just reading something in the Sun about South Point expanding its rodeo arena. They sure can't be happy about this change of venue. Of course, it might just be a bargaining move by the rodeo guys.

Osceola County, FL? Really?

Actually, they would temporarily use the Amway Center in Orlando, which is in another county altogether... here's the story:

The people attending are not going to be happy with this move. I can almost guarantee it.

Agree with that. DisneyWorld is not quite the same attraction as Las Vegas. Even with a side trip to Gatorland.

Well, at least if I visit in December now I won't be bored on Fremont because it is all country acts like last December!

You can only see so many Johnny Cash tributes in your lifetime. Seriously.

I was on Fremont Saturday night and I felt sorry for the country guy playing on stage. It was too late for the NFR crowd, so the poor guy got a bunch of locals and tourists expecting rock. He was quite talented, though country is not my thing.

NFR has been in Vegas for a long time. The weather in Orlando in winter might be better, but this town has been gearing up for NFR for decades (entertainment, dining, etc.) There's going to be a learning curve in Florida. It's also a long distance from western states.

I really can't see traveling from NM to FL with a horse trailer.

I'm sorry guys, this is my fault. I moved here and the weather went to crap and now this.

The week before the rodeo was extremely dead. It was hell being in a cab. During the rodeo was pretty damn steady and nice. Yesterday was a very slow Sunday. Today is very quiet so far.

I would think Texas would be more appropriate, really.
