Are you talking connections or payoffs?

Nothing wrong with using connections to get a job, or if you are the connection, hooking someone up. A lot of bosses want someone they know, or who one of their current employees would vouch for.

Handing someone an envelope full of hundreds is another issue entirely.

Some skilled jobs are like this as well, but it's mostly the jobs described above.

Juice is overrated...they trade access for money, as simple as that...or favors or whatever.

That's all it is plain and simple. Every business legal or black-market on the planet has some form of juice or favor's network in place.
