Facebook is the devil(tm) but I admit I sometimes play myVegas. So far, I've gotten enough points for a hot dog.

Do locals play myVegas to get the FREEBIES? Since so many are unemployed in LV, it might be a good way to pass the time instead of getting drunk and wallowing in thoughts of misfortune and offing yourself.

Former local.

The rewards are much much better if you aren't accessing FB from Las Vegas.

Easy, obfuscate your IP. Any nerd/geek can teach you how. Make it like you're accessing FB from the North Pole sitting next to Santa Claus.

I play, I was from Michigan but now that I'm here I find I can get the same offers. I use my points for free buffets to rooms at the Aria a nice perk for playing a casino game

I, too, tested the IP address theory & I don't believe there's a difference.

I like to play casino games on FB but I hate myVegas. The games and graphics are so juvenile that is distracting and not fun to play.

We should use this forum to discuss hints, tricks, etc how to up our scores.

Here is my hint;

"BANK" your money -- Don't gamble your coins every day, save them up - and when there is a double xp day, or when they have a contest (like the million chip giveaway that no one ever wins) You will have much more entries.

There is already a Facebook group for MyVegas. They share coins & tips on the games. I've already done gotten rooms at Luxor & Excalibur. Have upcoming comps at MGM, Monte Carlo & NYNY. If you find the games boring, set it at 100 auto play & walk away for a while.

MyVegas has now partnered with Station casinos to offer locals more reward options.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/playst...120000171.html

For those that don't play I highly recommend getting started. With time an patience you can earn rewards at MGM and now Station casinos. I have been playing for over a year and have not spend a dime of my own money to earn rewards but I have been able to get free rooms and food. I would say that playing has saved me hundreds of dollars, mostly from the free rooms. While you do have more options when you're not a local I'm sure the addition of the Station will make it now worth it for some.
