I'm planning on moving out to Vegas this fall and want to visit this June to drive around and look for a place to live. In the past I've used an apartment finder agent who is basically like a real estate agent for apartments. I don't particularly want to rent a car if I don't have to so ideally I'd love to be in communication with someone knowledgeable on apartments and have them be able to drive me to look around while i'm there. Is there anything like that available?

How did you find your apartment? Especially those who moved to Vegas from other areas.

Thanks for your help!

haha yeah, I'm on both. I figured this probably had more info from real locals and not just poker players

I would prefer to live on my own for the first 6 months and then if I find people I want to live with, then maybe move somewhere else. I think that's safer than just moving into a poker house and it not working out. Plus I have my own furniture and a dog.

As I say all the time, check VRBO and AirBnB. Those sites are popular for the snowbird crew then the WSOP crew. All sizes, all rent levels, very flexible time frames.

I drove around town, stopped in countless offices, and settled on one that could facilitate my desks.

how big is your dog? some places won't allow for large dogs some will.

there is a good dog place off grand canyon and flamingo(actually peace rd)... it's a safe area and you're no more than 15 minutes from just about any casino... from red rock to the venetian.
