Lovely yard! Its amazing how once the smaller (younger) plants estabish themselves how fast they take off.

What side of your house are the raspberries on (N,S,E,W) ?

Thank you! The back of the house faces Northwest. They get partial sun due to their proximity to the house.

Nice Macgeek! I like the beds in the front yard.

Also I should report that the ladybugs worked, no mites currently.

For 12 years I planted all kinds of fruit tree and I have found out that the best that do well in our climate are the following:

- Apricots, very delicious and high production on yearly basis
- Plums, red type also does very well every year.
- Lime Tree also does well
- Pomegranate does excellent in our weather
- Black Figs also do well but not the brown variety
- Almond
- Quince

The trees that did not do well were Nectarine, Peaches, Apples, pears and Lemon.

Giving romaine away to the neighbors along with broccli and califlower. The zucchini should be ready in a couple of weeks as well as the tomatoes. Onions are ready to be picked too!

Well, in addition to the veggies, we now have some backyard chicks. You can check out their live feed at The Chicken Co-Op. Login=guest. No password. You can manipulate the camera with the controls on the right side of the screen. They are two days old.

Fresh veggies, and fresh eggs. I think the neighbors are going to be very happy.
