Damn wild ghetto chickens and roosters roaming the streets. That's what I get for living near horse zoned property.

Actually my daughters love it. We just sit until the birds cross the road. Happens probably once a month very early in the morning. Last year there was a horse laying on the side walk across from the pig farm. The year before that were streets flooded with escaped baby chicks. I have a video somewhere of people getting out of their cars to heard the chicks back where they came from. I guess it brings a little character to the area.

You want to know why the chicken crossed to the other side of the road?

It is an ongoing thing. Seems that a rooster/hen finds an opening in their coop and they go exploring. That is as much as myself or my neighbors know. Seems that no one minds enough to complain about it.

Put a biscuit and a bowl of gravy outside of the fence. Those chickens will stay put.
