What are some of the cheap gym memberships in Vegas?

I was going to the community gym which was $12 a month with no contracts/pay as you go...anything cheaper? Or what are the rates you know of?

I think at a certain point you just want to be close to the gym. Is it worth it to save $10/month if the discount gym is 10 miles away?

Well, 24-hour fitness costs me $29.99 ...

... per year.

It may not be for everyone & I'm not sure they even offer those deals anymore, but I paid more up-front for the first three years so I could get cheaper renewals. Now my renewals are $29.99/yr, $2.50/month. Given that I keep weird hours at times, 24-hour is perfect for me. Last time I went swimming at 4:30 AM. It also helps when I travel to neighboring states, as I can find a convenient gym to utilize.

For those wanting short-term convenience, I also get occasional mailers from Gold's Gym for $9.95/mo.

For those cheap monthly rate with no contract, automatic payment is usually required and it is very difficult to cancel the auto-payment without big argument with several layers of management.
