There's free air around ALL gas stations...

Some charge you for the use of their electricity and equipment that COMPRESSES it for you to inflate things though.

I would recommend getting a portable compressor that you can get on Amazon for less that $40. They come in handy and you'll never have to worry trying to find a station with free air.

Or just make sure you have a couple of bucks worth of quarters with you at all times. Really though you shouldnt have to inflate your tires more than a once month or so.

Guy at the Terrible Herbst I stop at told me if you buy gas from them they are required to turn the air on by request, free of charge. No idea if this is some kind of law but I've checked my tires/put air in several times with different attendants on duty every time I ask "can you please turn the air on" they do it without question or hesitation. This is the Herbst at Boulder/Sunset in Henderson I imagine all of them would offer the same courtesy?

The compressor outside the station does take quarters but, the attendant has a remote they can turn it on from inside.

So far, I have found one gas station that offers free air. I can not remember where it is though. Somewhere in Summerlin.
I found out by needing air and lacking quarters. I went in to ask for change for a dollar for the air compressor, and he said "you don't need quarters." and flipped me a token.

On the East coast, at least the parts I lived in, most gas stations offered free air...

Go to any Discount Tire. They will do it for you for free and there is no wait. They have a special lane that you drive right up to.

Whenever I go to Costco I drive up to the tire bays and request that the air in my tires be checked. It has never been a problem and this way I am sure they are at the right pressure. They don't ask to see my membership card, either.

I tried this at a 7-11 as I heard there was some rule against denying compressed air/water but I was told quarters only.

Some states mandate free air for customers or something like that. Apparently not NV :P
