Please don't throw tomatoes at me! I know it's only September...Anyway, my husband slipped at work at the end of July and has messed up his knee. PT hasn't helped. Doc told him it's going to take time to heal plus the cartilage is nearly gone, MRI possible surgery, etc, etc....So fast forwarding, I know he is not going to be able to safely climb the ladder and put Christmas light up on the house and in the trees this year. I know he is going to feel horrible about not having lights up for our 2 girls, so I was hoping to find a solution PRIOR to everyone realizing he cannot do it and sort of surprise him.

Does anyone have a proper company that they use for this? TIA!

I'll be more interested in how many CDers offer. I do not belong on a ladder (vertigo) so I'm a non-candidate.

There are companies that do this that start advertising around Thanksgiving. I've seen their trucks parked on Flamingo near Hualapai (across from the Target). Packages start at around $750, so these aren't guys who are just going to put up a half-dozen strings of light along the edge of your roof.

I don't belong on a ladder either, so I feel your pain!

You might find a handyman (licensed, insured, bonded kind, for sure) who would do it for you. I think the above poster is correct in that most of the companies that do that sort of thing specifically may not do the small jobs.

Not EXACTLY what you were talking about but I am thrilled there are solar lights out there now!

I would go the handyman route!

I have nothing against a handyman, but I don't currently have one. They seem to be a hard thing to come by! Any recommendations would be welcome.
