No one is forcing you to travel to Las Vegas and spend your hard earned money. So you don't have to spend money just to spend money as you put it. The resorts in Las Vegas provide entertainment, lodging, food, drinks and gambling to those that want to buy those things. People that visit Las Vegas go there to have a good time.

You don't get out much, huh? "Las Vegas Strip, is a singular example of government and private industry working together to extract every last dollar from every last man, woman and child in America." LOL.

The strip is a suckers Paradise, why not try and get off the strip to the many things we do have here in vegas.even the local casinos are better than the strip resorts, you actually win in these casinos. Go hike red Rock ,ski and climb Mt charston.
Boating on lake Meade.
Us locals don't patronize the strip , only work there.
As much as we don't like the strip, it's a big source of our economy.
So, if you come to Vegas and don't leave the strip, all I got to say is thank you for your donation to our great city.
