When I was coming home yesterday a guy in a brand-new Ford truck was riding my arse on the 215 in a 45mph zone AND a construction area. That stretch of road is so dangerous because there is no divider between east/west traffic which is why the posted speed is 45 mph. When I moved to the slow lane, he cut me off to get to the next exit. I happened to be taking the same exit and met him at the same stop light. It just takes one time to be in a head-on collision and quite frankly, I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. When I'm on the freeway, I go with the flow of traffic but sometimes you have to know when to slow the hell down.
Yes! I almost met my maker on that stretch of 215 recently myself. 45 mph zone, construction, no median. Guy was doing 75+ and anyone who even thought about going the speed limit had better get the hell out of his way.

No, they'll just say, "Why are you so negative?" Or they'll find the one metro area which is worse and say, "See, it's worse in East Cupcake, Alabama."

Nope. They will simply point out it is in the middle of the pack as to accident rates and fatality rates. And I believe rural NV is in fact more dangerous than the Valley.

But don't let facts confuse you...you know what you know.

There's 5.6 million reported crashes every year.
2.3 million injuries.
32,000 deaths.

People have no business behind the wheel.
