Getting tickets was a bit daunting. I guess scalpers got a lot of them I ended up on Vivid seats for the Iowa State game.

I've never paid so much for a UNLV ticket. Hawaii is coming this year and I recommend you go to the 9th Island bowl and tailgate if you've never been before.

I can't believe it's hard to get tickets. I mean not really hard but sorta different.

I don't ever expect them to be good so I don't really get upset if they lose. If they make it competitive it's a really fun day. Can't wait to see them play in the stadium.

For all you that expect UNLV to be like USC or Alabama. You are delusional weirdos who have no firm footing in reality. Just enjoy the kids playing a game and maybe have a hot dog and a beer.

I hope we get to go to the game.

Now UNLV basketball is different story, but we aren't there yet.

Anyone else going to a few games?

I have season tickets and parking pass. With donations and pricing, it came out to $75/ticket for lower bowl home side, 5 yd line. If I got rid of parking, the per ticket price was $45. I had option to pick up single game tickets before offered to non-season ticket holders, but did not. I imagine many of those single game tickets went to those who were getting updates from UNLV and got on the site as soon as sales opened.

There are only a few tickets remaining for ISU game; but the home schedule is also decent beyond ISU. I think Hawai'i, SDSU and SJSU will be big sellers as well. Last year, they had ASU and WYO at home, which would have been great home games if played.

I plan to be at a few games. It is worth the admission to watch a game in the new stadium. Best of luck to Rebel Football this year!

Dang I forgot about parking. Guess that's a seperate thing. I'd like to tailgate as well. I should have done the Season Tickets in hindsight.

Can't wait to see the new stadium. I'm too embarrassed to say what I paid, but I did get front row endzone tickets so should be fun.

I guess I need to see about parking. Where do I do that?

I do not know how they plan to handle parking since the stadium lots are all reserved from what I can tell. Originally, I planned to rideshare, but decided parking would be cheaper than a roundtrip--here is a link that might be useful:

Perhaps park at one of the strip properties with free parking and walk over.

Its bizarre what they did in not selling upper levels for teams that attract a crowd. I get it for San Jose St you don't really need that many seats, but some teams like Iowa St definitely could sell 10-20k more tickets. Maybe they rethink this and release more tickets later on.

Sure has. I expected as much and got insurance though surely vivid seats will refund the ticket if it's cancelled.
