I am relocating my family to Nevada. I talk to one person and they say live in this area of town and then I talk to someone else and they say oh don't live in that area of town. I have 3 children so I am looking for a safe area and good schools. I will be working right off the strip. Any suggestions?

Try the Southeast part of the valley (ie. Green Valley,Anthem, Siverado Ranch area) well established and good schools. I have two kids 11 & 16

There have been tons of discussions on this. There are some rough parts of town, but there are also lots of great areas.

The Southeast (Henderson / Green Valley) is nice, Summerlin is nice, the Far Northwest (up by Centennial) is nic.

Never, ever would we move without a job in order. Especially in this economy. Which is what caused my husband to be laid off in the first place. A sucky economy.
