Hey guys and gals!

I just moved here this week after taking a job, COX just turned my TV and net on yesterday. I'm just curious....

I'm a big Angel's fan. What are the regional games shown here at night? Dodgers, Angel's, DBacks? I assume one of those teams have the local MLB coverage.

Not an NFL guy, but are the raiders games going to be shown every Sunday now?

Thanks and Go Halos!

Remember those walls I built
Well, baby, they're tumbling down
And they didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make a sound
I found a way to let you win
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now

Well I turned on fox earlier hoping for Dodgers/Angels and got Indians/Yankees so I'm not sure about the regional coverage.

Agreed. I was very thrown off by that.

I tried Hulu live TV and was able to watch out of market baseball games like my Brewers for example but I cancelled because my wi fi is too slow. They offer a 7 day free trial.

The best bet might be to just bite the bullet and get the MLB TV package but check to see what teams are blacked out in this area.

I'm a huge hockey fan and have NHL TV (not Center Ice) for watching my Blackhawks games. I have the app on Roku and the picture is superior to anything else. Worth every penny. Next year I'm changing from Dish to DirecTV to be able to get Sunday Ticket.

Padres are seen on channel 96 on Cox. Dodgers mostly show up on espn channel 30, Dbacks are seen on channel 50 although they are not announced, since the scroll shows something else (must be a local override of the channel), the Angels are sometimes on channel 49 sometimes on 30 doesn't seem to be any regularity with them.

As for MLB TV, we looked at it one year on our Cox coverage and all our local teams were blacked out when at home, so we cancelled it. Local being objective as they were blocking out everything within a 600-mile radius.

I would expect the Raiders games to be blacked out at home unless they are a sellout, which could be the case.

This is from 2016 but an interesting article on MLB blackouts in Las Vegas.

Like Iowa, six MLB teams claim Las Vegas as their television territory: Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland A’s, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants.

Great article. Very disappointing. I never would have guessed that six teams could claim one city.
