Anyone have any information on if one is able to getaway mortgage on these condos? I know that getting a condo mortgage can be quite difficult/impossible.

IIRC, the HOA and other monthly fees on those LLV condos are monsterous.

Some of the condos there... The HOA includes utilities and cable. Not sure if that applies to the ones you're looking at.

Getting a mortgage on a condo is not a problem.

The issue is that due to the slow appreciation of condos, banks HIGHLY prefer more downpayment. Unless you're a Vet it's unlikely you can get a high LTV.

Just call a loan professional. They'll let you know real quick like if what you're wanting is doable.

RE: LLV, we thought about a condo there for the summers, but we couldn't get away from the whole toxic waste dump thing.

(Yes, we go to LV for the summers. Vegas heat is much more palatable than the FL swamp-heat-bugs.)

LLV condo HOAs used to be pretty high, like $450 - $800/mo. I've heard some of the newer units have lower HOAs.

Virtually no HOA fees below $500 in LLV. Many are close to $1,000 even on small 1 bedroom places.

There appear to be no FHA or VA loans there in the last year. There are however conventional loans though the majority are cash.
