How are people's experiences with Amazon Prime Now deliveries in Las Vegas?

I don't understand how one could mess up a delivery when the gps takes you directly to someone's house.

The worst part of it was I never got my groceries and when I complained, I got this response:

"I'm sorry to hear you were not able to locate your package, our tracking shows it was delivered to the doorstep."

I know where my doorstep is. I was home all day. My Ring device says no one, or no thing, arrived at my doorstep as they claimed.

Ask for GPS coordinates and the photo of the delivered package.

The problems I've had are with the post office. They admitted to losing my package and shrugged their shoulders. I hope it happens to them someday!

Yep, had a package "delivered" to my mail box over a week ago by USPS, no sign of it. I contacted the 3rd party on seller and they sent out another package free of charge even though they will most likely take a hit (either on materials or shipping or both), then after they ship it out, a neighbor brings me the package saying it was in their mailbox.

I've had other multiple orders from Prime Now, all without any hiccups.

Similar thing happened to me about a month ago. The Post Office swore up and down that my package was delivered after I filed a complaint. Fortunately a neighbor brought it over a few days later.

Mail delivery in general has been atrocious in our neighborhood. I can't count the number of times I received my neighbors mail, which makes me wonder how much of my mail I'm not getting. I recently started using USPS' Informed Delivery to help keep track of things.

https://informeddelivery.usps.com/bo...o/start.action

You'll receive an email that contains a scanned image of what you're supposed to receive that day. It's been very accurate so far. Definitely a great tool when you're expecting something important. It's free too!

The same thing happened to me in November. USPS swore up and down and the postal lady said she put it in the locked community box.... Several days later a neighbor came down with the package but they were also missing one. I was never delivered a key. The numbers were similar and I think she put the key in a box for a house that is empty and in foreclosure.

I canceled my Prime membership this month after several years.

Amazon used to be a fantastic service, competitively priced, and quick to fix the occasional mistake.

Now I find myself ordering from Target because Amazon keeps on screwing up and waiting forever to fix it. Plus Target's house brands are a lot better than all the cheap knockoff crap on Amazon these days.

I don't follow financial news anymore, but I'd bet anything shareholder greed is what's to blame. Always is.

I still have Prime and take advantage of deep discounts and price mistakes (which rarely end up shipping).

Recently there have been offers on Amazon when you pay partially with credit card points, $30 off $60 Amex, $15 off $45(?) with Chase and $10 off $30 with discover. Can't beat free money.
