Please help! I'm hoping I'm not the only one having this same leakage issues coming from a 3-story home, rooftop deck. There are plenty of 3-story, roof top deck homes in the valley, especially in the Blue Diamond area and the northwest. I'm having issues with my rooftop deck and no one wants to fix it due to leaking issues. I need help finding a roofer or a contractor who is actually willing to help to get this fixed ASAP.
One roofer who came and checked said that in addition to the water stain on the second floor, there's also water seepage by the rooftop deck door and it's coming down the steps. Apparently it's due to shoddy, careless work by the builder, causing cracking on the deck. Unfortunately, I'm the second home owner and when I bought the house, my inspector didn't think the water stain on the second floor will be a big deal, thinking I just need a sealant! Oh and I did the sealant and it's still leaking. And more unfortunately,I asked one of my neighbors who has the same house as me and they don't have any water leak issues. I got a bad house! Please help!!!

It's not easy. We bought our house and a month later we had a leak. Second story balcony had a couple soft spots that the inspector somehow missed and started leaking onto the patio below. I called so many places and nobody would even come out. They said they do not deal with flat roofs/balconies. Found one on Thumbtack who came out, said he would send me an estimate and I never heard from him again. Found another company who wanted $6000. to redo the balcony. My husband and his friend decided to give it a go. Cost us $800. in materials and we paid his friend for his help. I don't understand with all the homes with rooftop decks and balconies around the Valley, nobody wants to fix them.
