While not in Las Vegas we still have pests out here in Pahrump. I use Eco-Gen and they visit every two months to spray, spread granules and de-web the house. There are lots of companies available but you should get one and use them.

What pests do you have? I've lived in two homes, one in Vegas and one in Henderson. Been here for over five years and have never needed pest control. I haven't seen many bugs or other pests where I've lived. I have rabbits in my back yard now and then, I feed them carrots.

For me, it was always the giant roaches as big as pit bulls as to why I needed pest control. Swat bug killers is really good. You would have to see if they service your area. They do go all over. They do a great job in keeping the bugs outside where they belong.

Do you live in Vegas so you can spray yourself? For a while, I was only putting Terro Roach baits outside. We had too many spiders and centipedes among other things so I started spraying outside myself. I use LambdaStar Ultracap 9.9. My goodness the amount of dead spiders we found the first few nights outside was terrifying.

I had Bulwark come out a few times for a 1x spray and while they do a fine job they've got to be the most annoying company ever. They call and text non-stop. I'd say have someone out every 3 months if you hire a company.

And, all those spiders had a food supply, so you know there had to be a lot of bugs around, too.

We live near mountains/open desert so there is a lot of bugs. All of my neighbors have pest control come out. I rarely find bugs inside but when I do it's a centipede or wolf spider. I know the people that lived in this house before us had rats in the backyard, probably because one of my neighbors has a lot of fruit trees.
