Has anyone besides my family experienced negligent care, possibly leading to the death of a loved one at Harmon Medical Center and Rehab facility ?

Yes!
My mother has passed away and things just don't add up and basically they don't add up from Harmon. I also want to say that her insurance company was to blame also. But Harmon was awful and I can't help to think if she was never there would she still be here with us.

My father is there now, and I live a good distance away. I cannot get people to answer the phones, nor my questions. Calls to the administrator, the director of nursing have gone unanswered. Information is never forthcoming, you have to dig for it. They dare question my relationship claiming HIPPA, and I'm the POA! My dad's condition is sliding down the slippery slope and it's all thanks to this hell-hole. The very few nurses that can speak English seem caring enough, but communication is a huge issue with this facility. He is there because his insurance dictates it, and I have no choice. My hope was that he would recover enough to return to his former home state, but it doesn't look like that will ever be the case, and I have them to thank. I WILL be contacting the state department of health, the senior ombudsman, and a lawyer, rest assured. Slander? Highly doubtful.
