hi we are planning a family trip to las vegas with the kids. we are not planning on renting a car and would prefer to stay on the strip. i am concerned with eating at the hotel for every meal based on cost.

i was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to get a deal on a hotel with executive level access for their included breakfast and horderves in the evening?

or do some hotels offer breakfast and lunch with the price of the room.....?

we will be going in the middle of summer.

we appreciate the advice!!! thanks.

You might consider the Residence Inn at Hughes Center, just off the Strip. It's a doable walk from the hotel to the Strip, unless you have very small children.

You get complimentary breakfast and three nights of the week they have a reception with things like pasta, salad, etc.

If you stayed at somewhere like Venetian you have multiple food courts and decent restaurants as well as having a short walk to Fashion Show Mall and it's many food options as well as being fairly central compared to other casinos that all have semi-decent food options depending on what you're looking for.

NO, seems like you need a motel like la Quinta or something. Eating out in Vegas is a lot cheaper than other cities.

You are lot likely to find a hotel on the strip that includes meals as part of the rate. The best you may able to is book a rate that includes a food and beverage credit or may include buffets. These credits are usually one per reservation so you would have to look up the rules to see how best make your reservations to maximize the offer. Also for some of these offers you may be limited in where or when you are able use your credit.

For the most part hotels like Residence Inn, Homewood Suites, or Embassy Suites will offer more than one meal a day as part of you rate but these hotels aren't located on the strip

Firstly very few hotels on the strip have executive level clubs if you're thinking of something like the Hilton club floors etc. I believe the Venetian does, you may even be able to book it, but it's much cheaper to go to a restaurant.

Caesars group have the diamond lounges, but you can't book to go in them, you'd need diamond club status, so gamble lots which somewhat defeats the point. Really, stay at the cheapest place you can on the strip and eat at food courts, Denny's and other fast food places.

At best you might find an offer with $50 dining credit in a hotel but it's not worth it.

You can also check the magazines by check in, there's usually coupons 2-4-1s etc in them.

Food is no longer a bargain in Vegas. In a hotel, you will pay dearly for any and all food. There are "off strip" restaurants that are cheaper, but without a vehicle, you're very limited.

Can I ask...why are you bringing kids? I have kids...love them, but Vegas is NOT a "family" destination, despite what they advertised years ago....

In Vegas, you can drink yourself silly, but food...gonna cost you!

That's a pretty fair question, being stuck on the Strip, in the middle of July, with kids, and no vehicle would not be my idea of fun....to each his own...I guess !
