My husband and I are going to LV in February. Normally we get all free rooms from Harrahs properties - average facilities/hotels. We go 2-4 times a years so have seen pretty much everything. I see The Palazzo & Venetian offer a "concierge special" - limo / happy hour / breakfast, etc. for $400 a night. Really expensive in my book. Even standard rooms at Palazzo/Venetian are approx. $200+ a night (along w/ Wynn; Belliago). Are these places really worth the extra money? (Remember, we are normally the Harrahs/Paris/Bally's "people") It's our wedding anniversary and would like to do a little something special - ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED AS WELL.

I'd say go with your normal lodgoing, free is good.

You can splurge with the money you save by getting upgraded. Be sure and tell them its your anniversary and stress how loyal you are being to them.

Take the extra cash and visit all of the high rolling casinos you mentioned. They are worth a visit but not really the extra bucks for a place to sleep. You can dine out in style or see a great show on the terrific savings you're gonna enjoy.

You didn't mention 'which' anniversary. Renewing your vows could be nice, Vegas Chapel style Baby. Or do something you thought you'd never get caught doing...helicopter ride with lunch to Grand Canyon or buy your husband a Petty Driving Experience or ride along, the ride along is $110 for 3 laps at 160 mph plus. My son once rented a Viper here and took it out on the desert highways, just be very careful. There is some kind of 'stripper'/'pole dancer' class for you if you do an online search for it. That could get your motor revvvvvved up. Good Luck and Hope you have a ton of Fun.

Yes, Yes and Yes. I just stayed there twice in the past 2 months on great offers like yours. The rooms are beautiful. Three TV's in the room! Just do it one to say you have stayed at one of the best hotels in the world.

I'm a pretty grounded and down to earth person so I would never spend that kind of money for that. I've stayed at Bellagio and did not like it one bit. The Venetian has been sending me offers for 3 nights free. You might want to check and see if that is available. Normally when I come in, I happen to really like the rooms and sleeping accomodations and pool at T.I. That said, I have stayed practically everywhere else. Red Rock is also another favorite of mine I do not hesitate to pay for and it would still be less than the Palazzo and is extremely nice. I do not like being trapped on the Strip and always rent a car to see more of what the city has to offer. The money you would save could easily be used for that, plus a very nice meal in a non-Strip restaurant where you will be charged too much.

I also visit Las Vegas several times a year and I don't pay for rooms so I agree with the other posters who say....NO...don't pay that kind of price for a room. If I were in your position, I would possibly upgrade a comped room (or maybe not) and spend my money on going out to an extra special dinner or doing a special activity such as RedRock suggested. Have a great anniversay trip!

The Stripper Class. My wife took it at the ripe young age of 39 and LOVED IT!!!! I first shook my head when she suggested it, but we made it back from the Grand Canyon in 4.5 hours so she could do this. Well worth it as it made her feel fantastic and a little ... well, you know what I mean!!!

I just booked a room at the Wynn on hotwire.com for $109 per night (weekend stay late February). The normal rate is $399 per night. Never been to Vegas but I understand the Wynn is right up there with the Venitian.

Well 400 is a lot per night. But at the same time since I'm not sure I wouldn't want to influence you not to stay there and miss out on something really special.

So what I'm trying to say is that for 400 a night make sure your getting something out of it that's really nice. Like make sure that the limo won't smell like body odor, etc.
