No, the first interview was with the food and beverage director who was from the
Bellagio. She was interested in my experience. The 2nd was an e-mail from the
specific department job/position in which I applied for at the: "Aria Resort & Casino"
main tower at the City Center project, most likely the future Management at this
property only.

Good article in lvj about cc. Says aria is opening on dec. 16th. Says they have strong bookings for the hotel already. Talks about the rest of the properties and their opening dates and so on.

Do you guys think offers will be pushed back due to the postponing of CityCenter until December?

To my knowledge it's always been scheduled to open in December. Even the little postcards given out after the interviews/drug screening show it opening in December

The guy I interviewed with for bartending said he was the food and beverage director for the Bellagio as well. Only she was a he, older with a British accent.

I think Vdara was set to open up on October 1st. On the lvrj article, it says the date changed to Dec 1st.

the department hiring manager said I would be offered a job on paper in September...I am relocating so I am not sure if that is why...Also it is in the day spa/salon so each department has different managers. Hope this helps. Like I said I feel really positive about that but this has been a really long process and until I sign something on paper I will still be nervous!!!Good luck to all.

sign what on paper? you do know that they can terminate you within the first 90 days for any reason (including their own.. ex. overhiring which they always do) without recourse..... Not to be depressing, but I certainly wouldn't relocate to vegas just on the premise of CityCenter.. have you looked elsewhere.... As much as i hate to say it and want to deny it, I think that its an eyesore and will bomb. (my opinion so don't blast me for it)... Alot of locals feel the same way... Unless you are going for a management position ($50k or more etc.. ), why would you relocate for $10 an hour..

Of course everyone's entitled to their opinion, but this forum is to share information and support eachother. There is no need to be negative ar try to scare people. We all know about probation periods and that the casinos always overhire to weed out the slackers. Are you applying for a job at cc? If so than that is kind of hypocrytical. Just my opinion

Also a job in the day spa will pay a lot more than $10 an hour. Proffesions like massage therapy pay well, especially at high end spas like the one Aria will have.
