I'm relocating to Las Vegas in February for my job. I have some friends who live down in Seven Hills. I know that is a really nice area, but just a bit too pricey for me at the moment. I have been looking at some houses to rent online in Silverado Ranch and the 89123 zip code which is a nearby neighborhood and they look pretty nice as well, but more affordable. Can anyone tell me if this is generally a decent area?

Very good area and affordable. Its very close to 7 hills/anthem area. Southpoint, green valley ranch and M resort will be your major casinos in the area.

Yep, it's very decent, and you'll be a short hop to your friends in seven hills. Our zip is actually 89183, but was 89123 before they either split the area or just changed it.

One more thing, I would highly recommend you work with a realtor; when we moved down in 2007, a realtor sent me listings at home (Cali then) and when I came to town she took me around to show me the ones I'd picked out. Rentals, not just for sale.

I'm in 89123, decent area and close to everything. It's not as fancy as Seven Hiils, but it's safe and convenient... good value too.

If you can't fine anything in that area look in 89141. It is close to 89123 which I lived in and 89183 which I work in. It is close.
