I have celebrated a few birthdays in Vegas but this is my 40th. I havent been to Vegas in 2 years now...serious drought for me.

whats new the past 2 years that I have missed?

is there anything that anyone would recommend doing other than gambling outside of vegas?

thanks

If you've never been there, rent a car and take the time to drive up to Zion National Park, 3½ hrs. Do some hiking. There are trails ranging from easy to very strenuous. Or go see the Grand Canyon, 4½ hrs. You didn't say when you'd be here, but if it's before the middle of October, I'd recommend the North Rim (it closes in winter). After mid October, only the south rim is open. Just getting there you see some really beautiful country. If you go to Zion, there are things to do in St. George, UT, along the way.
