I'm just curious. Once a week? Once a month? Once a year? Only when a new casino opens? Every New Year's Eve?

A co-worker of mine hasn't been down there in two years. He lives up North and hangs out at the Cannery.

When I brought my mother out here the first time, and how overwhelmed she was at seeing the Strip, she was under the impression that I ran down there every week or every night of the week. I didn't comment, but prior to her arrival I hadn't been down there in over a year.

I was just down there Thursday night to look at the progress of City Center, hadn't been down there in 6 months.

And the rest of you?

Fremont Street once or twice a month.

But the strip, I had to think about it. I think I went maybe once this past summer. Haven't been this fall either.

Every weekend. I am getting ready to head out within the next half hour. When it gets really cold though, I don't always go out.

I would go down there when I had visitors in town or for obligations such as parties of co-workers.

I would also go to shop...The Forum Shoppes or Fashion Show Mall.

Also went fairly often to NY NY to ride the coaster and play air hockey.

Never once did I gamble on the Strip.

I really like Fremont Street too but I only made it there a few times.

This is just my opinion, but overall Fremont Street fails to compare to the strip. The casinos are more smokey and lower end, and generally the people are older and of lower class. I have lived here for over 3 years, and this is quite noticeable. The south end of the strip blows away Fremont street ten times over. The only thing Fremont street has going for it is the food and table limits are lower. However, the reason is quite apparent when you compare the two.

of course this is my opinion.... i can care less about the table limits and food.. i disagree about the ages..if you hang out around mickey finns, the crowd is young.. the music, the light show... i'll take fremont
