My fiance and I are relocating from Orange County, CA to Las Vegas in the next few weeks and we have been having the worst luck with trying to find a rental home. When new homes come up on the MLS they are either gone by the time we can get out there to see them or when we have planned trips to see homes out there, they have all turned out awful. My fiance is very particular on the area, he only wants Anthem, Seven Hills, Green Valley Ranch or Southern Highlands. Does anyone know of a reliable rental property/real estate agent?

We are looking for a 3-4 bedroom home with a pool and spa, a gated neighborhood would be nice but not a requirement and hoping not to go above $2500. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I realize that our budget is not necessarily ideal for these neighborhoods but try telling that to my fiance

We have found one home in mountain's edge that I love but after reading the threads about mountains edge on here, I'm not so sure I would feel safe staying by myself with our 9 month old daughter while my fiance travels for work. I know I know, crime can happen anywhere... Any improvements in this area?

Well I'll stop with the novel, if you have any advice or recommendations it would help out a lot! Thanks!

Mountains Edge is far from dangerous, that seems almost silly. Only issue living there is the number of vacant homes and what they do to property values, and the distance you are from some parts of town, but its no more dangerous in your house than the higher end areas that you mentioned. Its a tough place to be a homeowner, but a fine place to be a renter IMO.

As for your price range, that should be easy to find especially if you'd take a community pool.

Thank you for your response, I'm glad to know that it's not dangerous or crime ridden . We are still hoping to get the mountain's edge home, if the agent would ever return our calls, we are at a point we would take it sight unseen. I'm not the type of person to sit around and worry about what could happen (crime wise) so we'll just take it day by day, in what ever neighborhood we end up in, and eventually we will feel as comfortable there as we do here. Hoping to be in Vegas, with a home soon!
