It looks like I will be moving up from Costa Rica in June or July. I have a valid Costa Rican license and a U.S. passport and my original birth certificate. I am still trying to get a new s.s. card as I lost mine years ago and because the mail system is so bad here a new one hasn't arrived. Does anyone know what I need to get my Nevada license. I should have a Nevada address with a week of moving up there. What do I need to bring to the DMV.?

You can order a replacement card online and if you don't have a mailing address you can have it sent to the local SS office and pick it up there. Thats what a homeless guy was telling me on the bus.

Thanks I was trying to have one sent and held at the embassy down here but they won't hold it. I did find most of the answers online and I am going to go to the embassy here again tomorrow.
