Hello

I'm a Greek guy, almost 30,and I've been a member on these boards since '16 -' 17 if I remember correctly, but back then I gave up my try on coming there and become a US citizen. Now I'm working in Germany since 2019 as a truck driver.

Now, my question is again up on the surface. With the current situation, how difficult is for a European person to come there and work legally, with all the rights etc? Also, would it be easier if that person started a business over there? I mean, maybe the government gave him some extras for being available to invest little money over there or so..?

What are the available solutions, except for marrying a US citizen? Really looking forward to your reply

Thanks in advance

Why would you be moving from one country in disaster to another country in disaster? Move to a country that WILL survive and stay well in what's coming.

It's very tough to predict what countries will be at their best in what's coming, but to answer to your question. I would like to move there because I'll be having a much better income with what I'm doing now and I believe there's much more potential into doing your own business in the USA. I think the opportunities are countless and despite the difficulties, I think that if you really are after something, you can achieve it over there easier than in Europe

If you invest $500,000 to $1 million US dollars in a business in the US, you can get an automatic green card.

Otherwise it is a long, expensive thing to achieve.

The US isn't part of the EU, you can't just show up and get a job. You have to have a social security number to get hired and you need to be a legal alien to get a SS card unless you want to pick tobacco in North Carolina or crops in California.

I am going to regret asking I know, but what exactly is "coming"? Zombie apocalypses or something?

Both Germany and US are prosperous countries with good prospects compared to some countries. You want he should move to Venezuela or Syria?
