Are you sure they are going to ask that question? And if they do ask you, I'm not sure it will be about the ceremony itself...
I must say that we haven't been asked any question concerning our wedding, nor any visa holder I know...
Contrary to common believe there is no script for questions. Listen to the questions carefully, make sure you understand them and answer truthfully to the best of your ability.
To worry about that the day before your interview - lack of preperation on your part?
Just be aware if you lie and are caught you can be deported! Be honest, you might have to get here on a fiancee visa and remarry here to be legal, but don't lie to get here, not worth it later on when something happens and you have to leave on their terms!
Just be as honest as possible. If you are unsure about anything, seek legal advice. My husband and I had to get a lawyer, and that was the best thing we ever did. Best of luck!!
I have a question'what is the possible question for immigrant visa'so that i can prepared myself to the interview! Anybody there know what's the possible question for immigrant visa or common question?

That depends on the type of visa. Is yours a greencard lottery visa, are you married or engaged to a US citizen, getting sponsored by a company, have a parent in the US....?

It's a very active forum full of very knowledgeable, helpful people.
I'm not saying people here aren't knowledgeable or helpful...but the people there are in general more knowledgeable and there's a lot of them, so you're much more likely to get answers there.

Maybe he'll find the link helpful but he's not going to get any answers unless he's way more specific.
A serious question about immigrant visa interview next week!?
I have some concerns about the interview:
1- Our marriage certificate. According to US laws, you have to be present at the time of marriage. but our marriage was in the absence of my husband, however he signed the marriage certificate by himself. We had to do it, for some visa problems. I am worried what if they find out. However when we got my daughter's US citizenship, no body questioned our marriage certificate, as it's not mentioned there. But in the interview if they ask how was your marriage ceremony, I am so concerned what to say??? As if I tell the truth my visa will be canceled.
2- My husband the american citizen, is now on a temporary visa in UK with me. He was working for an american company at the time we filed the affidavit of support , but now he has changed his company, and if I mention that he may have a problem of proving domicile!!! So I am so worried about that too.
Can you give me some advice please? I really can't sleep at all. I'm so scared if I screw it up.
During the interview they may not even ask about your marriage ceremony. The questions vary depending on the interviewer and the couple being interviewed.

I think you're answering the OP from four years ago - someone else popped on here.
