Hey all!

I'm thinking about moving to PA by myself and would be looking to live in a rural area with no neighbors preferably within a 1/2 city block or more from others if possible. I like being by myself with a lot of privacy and like nature. I would want to be within a 20 minute drive of an area such as Allentown or Bethlehem mainly for job opportunities and social events. I'm sort of a loner and a minimalist and would be hoping to find a decent but probably small mobile home or basic 4 room cracker jack box house lol on private land with low taxes. Can a minimalist lifestyle person find a little place out there that's very cheap but decent without being stuck too far out in the middle of nowhere?

What's cheap? There are rural areas that are well priced North and West of Allentown, but the price really is a matter of where you are coming from.

Try looking out towards Kutztown or mertztown area. There are many farm areas and open land that way.
