Just wanted to let you know Julian, that I've plucked many bottom branches off of my tomatoes. I usually pinch off new wannabe branches that try to grow at the top, but I can't bear to pluck off any actual formed baby tomatoes. My goal is not size.

I grow more then needed cherry and grape tomatoes so I can go out and eat a handful whenever I want to without feeling that they need to be saved for a salad. I love summer.

Hi!!!

I wouldn't expect you to remove any tomatoes if your growing for quantity. :O)
It's great to hear that your removing leaves along the bottom.
Also please attempt to not have one plant touching the other if you can.

Planting tomato plants a minimum of 3 feet apart assists in this.

Many people don't have the room to plant farther apart I understand this, just attempt to space them as well as you can when you plant them in the spring. :O)
