My husband and I have a special needs adult child. We are going thru agony here with the lack of specialists here and GP's and dentists. It is so rural that you have to drive 40 minutes to a drugstore. I do not drive much and not at all on highways. Is Lehigh a better option for us are there specialists and I hope somewhere you could live and walk to stores. I had this on LI and also in FL and boy do I miss it so much and need it now We get sick on the bumpy and potholed country roads in Wanye County Plus what about jobs it would be for my husband nothing big but there are basically no jobs here. I really look forward to all your replies they are so needed thank you all so much

thank you we are approaching retirement age My daughter needs me all day but she is mobile. we were form a suburb of LI it had within walking distance pizza parlor Starbucks pharmacies , supermarkets it was heaven. After 9-11 we came here but them I was hit with severe allergies from all the trees here and it lead to a balance disorder. I am gaining confidence but since a dizzying attack yrs ago I have a fear of driving. this place is remote just farms and dirt roads and forest Even for my dog it is awful the vet is only open limited times and is far away My daughter and I do everything together we would love to walk to stores. a house or community is OK 150,00 range My husband only needs a little lob he was a commercial fisherman and now puts fire extingusher cabinets together i a warehouse. One of my big concerns is finding specialists this area exsits by hiring Nurse practicioners which cannot serve my daughters medical needs at all. I am so thankful that you wrote as I am so upset living here I appreciate each one of you and your ideas and thoughts I have lived in NEPA only before that LI and FL both much more mdern than here thanks
