Hi everyone! Our family is most likely moving to Macungie this summer. Sooner than we expected... Anyway, I am looking for a preschool in the Macungie area. My daughter (who is 4) has severe milk, egg & possibly peanut allergies. Her current preschool is very good about having designated classrooms for children w/food allergies. I'm not sure if any of you would even know how "safe" preschools in your area are when it comes to this kind of issue. Maybe neighbors w/children who have allergies have mentioned they are happy w/a certain school b/c they are so accomodating? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Depending on where you live in the Macungie area, I would suggest The Lehigh Valley Montessori School.

On a side note, our 5 year old had a milk allergy diagnosis at about 2. By 4 she was enjoying ice cream. Luckily that is one they usually outgrow.

Thanks for the info about the school. I'll have to check out their site. We are always hopeful that she'll outgrow her allergies...

Concordia Lutheran church preschool on Brookside Rd in macungie and Church of the Good Shepherd UCC Little Lamb Learners preschool in Alburtis are great ones.

Has anyone had experience with preschool at St.Joseph the Worker in Orefield? We are considering enrolling our toddler there but haven't heard too much about it.
