Question Place for Dogs to Swim Near Little Rock
Does anyone know of some good places to take dogs to swim near Little Rock, AR? We have two Newfoundland dogs who we are hoping to train for a water rescue dog test. This afternoon we drove to Lake Sylvia. It was a bit of a drive to do often and the water was pretty murky.

I'm afraid Hot Springs, up past Conway, or Lake Sylvia are probably going to be your closest choices. Lake Maumelle doesn't allow swimming.

Actually, the river park- Murray, I believe - in Little Rock has a boat ramp at the section of the park by the fenced in dog park area, and to the right of the boat ramp is a little inlet that is perfect for dogs to swim in. My lab loves it there.
