I do enjoy seeing all the historic buildings & streets of london. London is a must visit city & when i was their i took alot of pictures. I regret not staying longer. From what i see on tv people are really bundled up. Our weather here in so.ca is the total opposite.

No it isn't normal. This summer has been one of the coolest and wettest. Normal summer highs are about 75F in July and 74F in August and it rains about once a week. I've already explained this in another thread.

London's summer temperatures are warmer than any month in SF and similar to July at LAX or San Diego.

London is known for its awful weather. But other regions in the UK, such as the Gower Peninsula, are much better, and only a short journey away.

Yeah, if you enjoy rain and wind and colder temperatures then the Gower is better.

No it doesn't!

Swansea gets 1361mm of rain per year. London gets 600mm.

London is warmer in every month of the year, but here are the average temperatures between Apr and Nov.

Swansea
Apr: 13.0C
May: 16.9C
Jun: 19.8C
Jul: 21.0C
Aug: 19.5C
Sep: 17.1C
Oct: 13.9C
Nov: 8.1C

London
Apr: 14.2C
May: 17.9C
Jun: 21.1C
Jul: 23.6C
Aug: 23.2C
Sep: 19.9C
Oct: 15.6C
Nov: 11.2C

If you've got any evidence pointing to the Gower's warmer and drier conditions than London, then let's see it!

I have conducted my own empirical research - meanwhile, you fail to provide so much as a link for your figures!

Swansea - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This is only for 1989-2012, if I use the same time period for London, the temperature difference increases further!
