What do you hunt...on a boat???...in a Blizzard?? I am missing something here.

Yeah you are probably right...I guess it's near the Gateway Recreation Area. There was a map that showed somewhere completely different earlier. Now that map is gone....go figure. Good job by the marine squad getting this guy out in the storm.

Duck Hunters are a special and very strannge breed. They go out before sunrise and wait in the bottom of small camouflaged boats in freezing weather for the ducks to arrive. If you go near the boat ramps you will see them. The location is the bay area between Long Beach, Oceanside, Hewlett.

The sides of the boats are only a few inches above water and doesn't take much to capsize, years ago a hunter died of exposure on one of the islands when he lost his boat. You have to really love duck.
