I work in Kings Park and I have absolutely no cell phone service there and it sucks! My carrier is Tmobile. Is there anything I can do? Does anyone else have this problem? I was thinking about switching cell phone companies.

Cell phone service is horrible in Kings Park, I use Verizon and have to get close to Northern Blvd before getting a signal again.

Probably because Kings Park complained loudly about all the cell towers. Too bad, so sad, you reap what you sow.

(above not intended for OP...probably doesn't live there)

I live in Kings Park and don't have bad service with Verizon. I know there is an area in KP that I do not get any service and that is back by Twin Oaks Drive, etc. I remember when I was checking out the area before we knew we wanted to live there, I totally lost service in those back streets. I did however buy in a different area of KP, borders Commack and East Northport and I have no problems with my cell phone service in that area.

However, I didn't live in Kings Park when the cell phone tower was voted down.

I know for a fact that Verizon gets service in the area of Kings Park between Pulaski Road, Old Commack Road, Old Northport Road and Indian Had Road. I live in that area and my husband and I have no issues with cell phone service. As I mentioned in a previous post, we border Commack and East Northport in those areas.
