Since certain people have been designated as de facto moderators, I'm running out of patience with this forum. If people don't like threads about police comp, they DON'T HAVE TO READ THEM. There is no reason for every thread to be deleted because it is about a subject a small handful of people don't like being discussed.
I agree with you DMAN72 ....ppl like us got to put the spotlight on these excessive wages being paid to a police force that patrols a city that has the lowest rate of crime in decades.
Agreed, I don't understand why it is so taboo. We have a right as Americans to be able to question the way our government operates. They seem to forget that the government operates in the name of the American people, and only by our consent. The United States is a constitutional republic where the American people are the source of power ... not unions, career politicians, and special interest groups.
Are they really so arrogant that they believe they should be above reproach? If so than that is the classic sign of a government that needs to be altered or abolished if you ask me.
There is a sticky for discussions regarding civil service compensation.
It's a little strange when people think stuff they write on the interent is important or something.
