I had to pull my kids out of Stony Brook Child Care- which is amazing, but sadly doesnt have a part time program for age 2.5 and we just can not afford 2200$ right now.

So now i am looking for a daycare/preschool program that is 2 times a week.

I have used KidsPlace Day school in ronkonkoma before- but this place just SUCKS, it is horrible and I dont want my kids going there again. I came in on 4 seperate occasions and the kids were in front of the TV!!!!. My kids went there last spring when we had to pull out kids from Stony Brook last time and Kids Place has its pros - being very flexible and offering make up days, but the quality of care is so sub par relative to the cost, it is only like 3 dollars cheaper a day.

Anyhow, i live in Patchogue and will be driving up to class in Stony brook, so anything near one of these locations would be good and Cost IS an issue, i would prefer 50-60$ /day per child.

I was going to say tutortime or one of those places but they're over your budget I believe. To my knowledge no TV's, all "center" based play.

Tutor time has violations, atleast the 3 i checked within my area.

60$/day is pretty reasonable i think? i paid about 54.40 per day for fulltime at stony brook.

Try the Kindercare in Bohemia. I had mine there many years ago and was very happy with it. I tried the one on North ocean and that was terrible.

Emmanuel Lutheran in Patchogue has a program that may work but i dont know the age ; we went there at age 3 ; dont know if they begin earlier.
