I am glad to see how all elements of the operation (vehicles, Peole) were all personal donations and not "tax payers dollars" as the story clearly pointed out...
"Nassau Sheriff Michael Sposato said he is a big Giants fan and donated his car to drive the pizzas. Retired police officers drove their motorcycles and Sposato says no taxpayer dollars were wasted."
So The politically appointed Sheriff of Nassau County basically has these retired guys portraying themselves as doing something while on official business, red lights and all. Blasting through traffic, causing people to move to the right, maybe almost causing an accident, etc...etc.... Me thinks that Mr Sopressata should be retiring soon to spend more time with his family.
I don't believe the "no taxpayer money was wasted" line, either.
But here's some food for thought: Who do you think approved all of this?
