Put it in a jar and hold it for when the increase comes after the next hurricane and we import workers in to fix the lines.

Going to be an unending problem until we build more generating capacity.

I'm goin' to Disney!

Personally, I don't think 4% would impact me that much. My house is pretty small. My electric bill is less than $100 a month and that's with 2-3 tv's going at once. Around the holidays it's just over $100 because of Christmas lights, entertaining, etc. During the summer it's about $120 a month because of the ac's.

Per month or billing cycle? Just asking because they gets confused quite a bit.

Sorry. I say "per month" but I mean each bill.

How do you do that when you can't build anything on the island without each municipality getting in there and making up their own rules. They wanted to build a wind farm off the old Schorm site the bird lovers felt it would harm birds and don't forget people want anything nuclear close to the island shut down so what are we building?

They'll build more gas turbines at best, or coal, or worse, nothing, and simply buy the power at a premium from areas not afraid to build more generating capacity.

Nuclear is basically the only realistic option until renewable tech progresses further, but we still have idiots trying to shut down the plants we already have.
