We used Sears but they were a bit more than other companies we looked into. I would use sears again for future projects. We paid $13,500 for our siding job.

I'm far from an expert, but I would recommend researching the various types and styles of siding that you prefer. I selected Alside Prodigy siding which has insulation backing. I didn't choose it for the energy savings, but because it's thicker than most siding, and the backing also helps keep it straight. Also, it comes in 16 foot lengths which produce fewer seams. Once you decide on the siding, search for contractors that frequently install that specific siding. Good luck. Matt
